Reports are circulating that sirens have gone off in Jerusalem. Sources told The Algemeiner that a rocket landed in the vicinity of Jerusalem. Israel’s Channel 2 is reporting that two rockets have fallen north of the city of Jerusalem.
Israel’s Channel 1 ITV reports that a rocket fell on the Arab neighborhood of Al-Issawiya.
For its part, Hamas claims they’ve shot an “improved Kassam” on Jerusalem.

UPDATE: The IDF confirmed to The Algemeiner that a rocket “hit an open area outside of Jerusalem.”
Nir Barkat, Mayor of Jerusalem said: “We have trained for all scenarios, all public shelters are ready to be opened if necessary. I urge the citizens of Jerusalem to continue with their lives.”
