Sudan Claims to Capture Hawk Spying for Israel

Reports out of Sudan claim that authorities in that country have spotted and captured a hawk that was carrying spy devices for Israel. According to Ynet, local sources claimed that the devices were taking pictures and transferring them back to the Jewish state.
Israel’s Walla news said that Sudanese media reported that the bird was identified as Israeli because it was carrying Hebrew labels that read “Israel Nature Authority” and “Hebrew University Jerusalem.”
The two countries have no relations, but tensions have been high since October, when an arms factory in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital city, was bombed. Sudanese authorities blamed the attack on Israel, but the Jewish state refused comment. However, it is widely known that Iran uses Sudan to ship weapons to Gaza militants.
