The annual No Pants Subway Ride event had some unique participants this past Sunday: Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem. The event, which began in New York City in 2002 is, according to the group that started it, “an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year. The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants.”
The event website boasts: “over 4,000 people participate in New York with tens of thousands more participating in 60 cities all over the world.”
