Much had been made about newly crowned Miss Israel Yityash Aynaw, an Ethiopian immigrant, getting to meet U.S. President Barack Obama after the White House specifically requested her presence at a state dinner in Jerusalem Thursday night. The symbolism of the first black Miss Israel and the first Black U.S. president being lost on nobody, she spoke to CNN after the event about the experience.
