Three videos from Gaza’s ‘Al-Aqsa’ television channel, which is affiliated with Hamas, provide a glimpse into the high-profile and sanctioned incitement against Israel in the coastal enclave. The videos, two of which feature religious leaders and one of which features a TV anchor, have been posted to the “Hamas 101” page of the IDF’s English-language blog.
In the first, religious leader Wael Al-Zarad asks God to support global Jihad fighters in their attempts to “liberate Haifa, Acre, Jaffa, Safed and Lod, Ramle, Jericho and all of our cities” from “this group of cancerous bacteria.”
In this Friday sermon from March 1, the preacher calls on his congregation to “admit and proclaim to the entire world that what we truly seek is to remove the so-called “State of Israel” from existence.”
In this March broadcast, the anchor of an Al-Aqsa TV news show delivers a report that encourages residents of Gaza to respond to calls by Hamas for a terror attack on Jerusalem.
