Though decentralized, the thousands of Chabad institutions across the globe – considered the largest Jewish organization in the world today – fit under a loose umbrella, Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, chaired today by Rabbi Krinsky. Continuing to be inspired by the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Chabad emissaries (shluchum) extend their footprints both domestically and internationally, impacting virtually every community and aspect of Jewish life today, from children to students on campus, from singles to families, from the aged to the needy and incarcerated. “The amazing thing,” says Rabbi Krinsky, “is that this success is not due to any of our efforts, but to the enduring inspiration of the [Lubavitcher] Rebbe.”
