‘Sukkathon 2013’: Jewish Agency Competition Seeks ‘Number One Sukkah’

JNS.org – The Jewish Agency for Israel has launched titled “Sukkathon 2013,” an online competition for Sukkot to find the “Number One Sukkah in the World.” Participants can submit photos of their sukkah for consideration to a panel of global judges that includes renowned South African architect Pam Davidson, among others.
Photo submissions will be accepted through Sept. 23 via number1sukkah@gmail.com or by tweeting the photo to @Jewishagency with the hashtag #number1sukkah. The winner will be announced Sept. 25.
“We look forward to showcasing the artistry and creativity that exists within the global Jewish family and invite Jews who are proud of their sukkahs to show them off,” said Tali Aronsky, the Jewish Agency’s director of communications in North America.
