The much anticipated Jewish pop rock band Haim’s debut album ‘Days Are Gone’ dropped Tuesday to mostly positive reviews and big sales across the globe.
The trio is made up of twenty-something sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim—all of whom got their start in the San Fernando Valley playing in a band with Israeli-born father Mordechai and mother Donna.
The notoriously dismissive music website Pitchfork gave the album an enviable 8.3 rating, calling it “translucent and refreshingly bare-bones,” while the Huffington Post tried to one-up all the critics, declaring the album “a masterwork.”
