The Wall Street Journal’s ’30-Second Pitch’ column, which offers young entrepreneurs the opportunity to hawk their e-wares, showcased Israeli start-ups this week, capitalizing on the wealth of tech minds now present at Tel Aviv’s Digital-Life-Design conference.
Israel has an abundance of tech-savvy citizens, and one Facebook executive stated she was “amazed by the amount of talent in Israel” after the social media giant bought Ramat Gan-based Onavo on Monday.
Among the start-ups featured in the WSJ column is Sync.me, an application which takes a name and a phone number to identify an individual and then calls in all publicly available social data and links it all together on the app.
