Ynet – The United States intends to present Iran with the first step of a future agreement that will stop the “doomsday/nuclear clock” for six months. On the eve of negotiations between the six powers and Iran in Geneva, the US wants a complete six-month halt in nuclear activity. During that period negotiations will continue towards a final resolution.
The US government will offer slight relief from the current economic sanctions, but will not permit any easing of the central sanctions on energy and banking, which have ground the Iranian economy to a halt, without a final agreement with visible, practical results.
