Tel Aviv dog lovers held the city’s first ever doggy run, called Dog Day in Tel Aviv, a clip of which was posted online on Tuesday.
Runners included a group of puppies trained to be guide dogs for the blind, who ran alongside their visually impaired owners.
“The dog culture of Tel Aviv is extremely strong,” one participant said. “You move to Tel Aviv and you have to have a dog,” said another.
Anatoli and his pup Shrek were the winners of the 3.5 km race.
