JNS.org – Hezbollah’s missiles can now “pinpoint” targets anywhere inside of Israel, a senior commander in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said.
“Hezbollah’s capability has improved so tremendously in recent years that it can hit and destroy any target in the occupied lands (Israel) with very little inaccuracy and pinpoint ability,” said Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh in comments posted on the IRGC’s website, Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency reported.
Hajizadeh also praised slain Hezbollah commander Hassan al-Laqis for helping to boost the terror group’s military strength.
According to recent reports, Hezbollah has been attempting to smuggle in advanced Iranian and Russian-made missile technology into Lebanon from war-ravaged Syria piece-by-piece to avoid Israeli airstrikes. Israel has struck several military convoys headed to Lebanon in order to prevent Hezbollah from acquiring advanced missile and anti-missile technology.
