Video of Epic David Guetta Concert Atop Masada Draws Half a Million Views in 2 Days (VIDEO)

A newly released video of renowned DJ David Guetta’s concert in Israel last October has attracted almost half a million views in the two days since it was posted on YouTube.
The epic event, attended by 20,000 people, took place atop the historic Masada fortress in the Judean Desert, 424 meters below sea level.
The video includes footage of Guetta discussing his sojourn in the Holy Land and performing his hit songs Titanium and Play Hard.
In the clip, Guetta shares his thoughts on the significance of the event and the unique venue.
“When I play in a country for the first time, or in a place like this where it’s quite a challenge to be in the middle of a desert, I don’t know what to expect. And that’s what is so challenging and exciting about being a DJ,” he says.
During the concert he tells the audience, “this is making me emotional. It’s been many years and I haven’t played here and it’s really special for me. I’m really, really happy to be with you tonight.”
“When there’s 20,000 people like tonight and we feel like one, that’s what makes me feel really special,” he says. “When we all feel like one, that’s when it’s magic.”
The DJ says that he was amazed by Masada and calls it “a symbol for Israel, and I think for the world too.” On performing in Israel, he says, “I have amazing memories here.”
