Ynet – Tens of thousands of haredi men made their way to the entrance of Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon, in advance of a mass protest against a new bill that would see ultra-Orthodox men drafted into the army for the first time since the creation of the state.
Israel Police was bracing for hundreds of thousands of haredi men to take to the streets of Jerusalem; the organizers of the protest said they were expecting more than 500,000 demonstrators .
