Israel, the Start-Up Nation, continues to revolutionize the world – as I further happily discovered last week at dinner when I checked out using an Israeli app – MyCheck. I was able to pay for the bill live from my phone, rather than wait for the server to present it, manually review the bill, and the like.
I easily and painlessly reviewed the bill from my phone, paid it, and saved myself time and headache.
So simple, yet so smart: How many people go out for meals and argue about the bill breakdown? How often do people wait and wait and wait for the check? And for restaurant owners, there are also benefits: no need for servers to process three (or more) credit cards when people want to split the bill, and they can turn over tables that much quicker – a benefit to all.
MyCheck, of course, represents so much of the ingenuity of Israeli technology companies – making so many experiences easier.
And it becomes even more interesting when you learn that there are many very successful people behind the company – the famed Saban family, the Wertheimer family (who became famous when their company became the first business bought outside of America by famed investor Warren Buffet), and model”Ž Bar Refaeli.
Smart and so exciting – and undoubtedly MyCheck will succeed even further because it simply makes so much sense.
Download MyCheck today – onward Start-Up Nation.
