Thaw in Relations? Israeli Supermodel Bar Refaeli Visits Turkey
by Shiryn Ghermezian
After returning from Thailand to spend a few days in Israel for the Jewish holiday of Purim Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli jetted straight to Turkey for a photo-shoot, Israel’s Channel 2 reported on Thursday.
Refaeli shared a picture from the shoot with her Instagram followers on Wednesday, captioning the close-up shot, “A day at work! ❤ï¸ my job.”
While dining at an Istanbul fish restaurant during the trip, Refaeli showed her maternal side when she took the time to play with a young boy who approached her.
The 28-year-old was with her father when the child came to the model’s table. Refaeli immediately sat him down on her knees and entertained him throughout the meal, Channel 2 said.
For Purim, Refaeli donned a yellow tiger jumpsuit, matching bag and leopard print shoes, The Algemeiner reported. She visited Thailand in early March and shared a series of sunny photos, taken during her vacation on the island of Koh Samui, with her Facebook and Instragram followers.
Refaeli was accompanied on her trip to Thailand by a new boyfriend, Britain’s Daily Mail reported. The Israeli beauty has previously dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Israeli businessman David Fisher.
Turkeys relations with Israel have been on the rocks since nine Turkish nationals were killed after they attempted to lynch Israeli naval commandos during a routine inspection of their ship in 2010.
