Complete with a Jew-fro and yarmulka, pop star Katy Perry disguised herself as a Jewish performer in a preview clip released Monday for her upcoming Birthday music video.
The 27-year-old morphed into a series of “the world’s worst birthday party entertainers” in the teaser and among them was “Yosef Shulem, The MC.” The Roar singer, almost unrecognizable in character with a thick black mustache and facial prosthesis, introduces herself to the camera then cracks a crude joke.
“I am a birthday party entertainer, I do bar mitzvahs, I do weddings, I don’t do funerals, but for a price I’ll do your funeral,” she says. “Did you hear about the rabbi who did free circumcisions? He only did it for tips.”
Other characters channeled by Perry include Goldie Dancer, Kriss The Clown, Ace The Animal Trainer and Puncess Mandee.
