CNN’s New York City office was picketed on Thursday by throngs of Israel supporters who called out the broadcaster for the continual spin in its reporting of Operation Protective Edge to somehow favor Hamas, the Gaza-based terror organization that preaches Al Qaeda’s message of jihad and death.
The crowds were incredulous as to how or why CNN’s reporters would fall for Hamas’s propaganda, so they gathered in Times Square to raise awareness of CNN’s media bias and pressure network executives to report the whole story.
Blogger Elder of Ziyon went behind the scenes of the event, filming buttonhole interviews with Honest Reporting’s Joe Hyams, Middle East Forum President Daniel Pipes, Jewish rapper Ari Lesser, Brandeis student and blogger, Daniel Mael, lawyer and journalist Lauri Regan, and Chloe Valdary, the student founder of ‘Allies for Israel.’
