British Labour Party Candidate Suspended Over Anti-Semitic Tweets — ‘Hitler Now Seems to be Israel’s Teacher’

A candidate representing Britain’s Labour party drew the ire of party bosses on Saturday after posting anti-Semitic comments on Twitter and suggesting the Islamist terrorist group ISIS should attack the Jewish state of Israel, the UK’s Sunday Express reported.
Vicky Kirby was suspended from the party after she tweeted “I will never forget and I will make sure my kids teach their children how evil Israel is!” according to the Express. “Apparently you can ask IS/ISIS/ISIL questions on ask.fm. Anyone thought of asking them why they’re not attacking the real oppressors #Israel?”
Kirby also wrote that Adolf Hitler may be the “Zionist God,” and added, “We invented Israel when saving them from Hitler, who now seems to be their teacher.”
Kirby was notified of her suspension on Saturday while en route to the Labour party conference in Manchester, the Express reported.
Kirby supports a boycott of Israeli products, according to The Sunday Times, a stance that is opposed by Jewish Labour party boss Ed Miliband who said in June:”The threat of boycotts of Israel is the wrong response. We do and we will resolutely oppose the isolation of Israel.”
Kirby is not the first Labour party candidate to be reprimanded for inappropriate social media posts. Jed Sullivan, candidate for Fylde, Lancashire, was criticized for posting sexist and homophobic comments on Twitter, and Mary Griffiths Clarke, candidate for Dwyfor Meirionnydd, Wales, tweeted, “The Nazis gassed their victims, this government are pushing disabled to kill themselves. It HAS to stop.”
