South Africa Holds Back Israeli Circumcision Device Amid Pressure From Anti-Israel Union

BDlive – The Department of Health has put on hold its plan to introduce an Israeli-made circumcision device in the face of pressure from the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) and its affiliates.

More than a year after introducing PrePex, during the sixth South African AIDS Conference in Durban, the department was no closer to taking a decision on whether to use it, said spokesman Joe Maila, on Sunday.
