Jerusalem Post – Attempts to get the UN Security Council to force Israel to withdraw to the 1967 lines within two years will fail, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting.
Netanyahu’s comments came a day before he is scheduled to fly to Rome to meet U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and discuss both the resolution the Palestinians plan on taking to the UN Security Council in the near future calling for a full Israeli withdrawal to the 1967 lines in two years, as well as a more moderate French proposal being drawn up together with the Germans and the British.
