A video posted Friday on Twitter, and filmed in the Porte de Vincennes area of eastern Paris, shows police cars rushing to the kosher supermarket where a gunman held hostages until police raided the shop and killed the armed assailant. Four of the hostages were also killed in the attack while others escaped unharmed, according to multiple media reports.
The assailant was suspected of gunning down a policewoman in southern Paris Thursday and knew at least one of the gunmen behind Wednesday’s deadly attack on the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Two Islamic terrorists wanted for the Charlie Hebdo attack were separately killed in a raid on Friday by security forces at a print shop where they were held up with a hostage, Reuters reported.
