Khaled Abu Toameh
Journalist
For several years now, the name of Khaled Abu Toameh has been synonymous with hard-hitting, factually-based reporting of Palestinian affairs. As a reporter for The Jerusalem Post and as a Senior Distinguished Fellow for the US-based think-tank The Gatestone Institute, Abu Toameh has tackled all of the major issues surrounding the Palestinian conflict with Israel, from the slander that the Jewish state is a carbon copy of South Africa’s old apartheid regime to the Palestinian Authority’s clampdown on the freedom of the press. Abu Toameh’s prodigious output is unlikely to lessen in 2015, as he continues to report on such vital matters as the Iranian threat to Israel and the penetration of the Palestinian territories by the terrorists of the Islamic State group.
