Yesterday I attended the funeral of my dear friend Nadiv Kehaty.
Only 30 years old, a committed husband, and the father of four young children, his sudden passing is an unspeakable tragedy.
Nadiv could be best described as something of a human sun. He would carry a bright energy into every room he entered and share warm personal words with each person present.
As I recall the time we spent together, as roommates in yeshiva over 10 years ago and throughout the following years, I can’t bring to mind a single memory of Nadiv in which he is without a beaming smile on his face.
On these pages, I am used to conveying ideas and observations, but today my message is personal. Nadiv was a special soul, of the kind that make our people great, and I am blessed to be among those who were touched by his light.
A fund has been established to provide for his young family’s needs. Please contribute generously.
