Israeli Member of Knesset Ahmad Tibi of the Joint Arab List said that “opposition parties” should “combat and confront” Israel’s Netanyahu following the latter’s electoral victory on Tuesday.
Tibi, in an interview with the Israel Project also voiced his opposition to a unity government, and said he will challenge the “right-wing government.” He also expressed disappointment with the Joint Arab List’s third place finish in the election.
Tibi made headlines before the election after he referred to the Yisrael Beiteinu party of Avigdor Lieberman as “The Jewish Islamic State.”
