The Islamic State terrorist organization claimed on Tuesday that its operatives had killed two agents of Israel’s Mossad, Israeli Channel 10 reported.
The claim was made in an online posting and asserted that the group killed the agents of the legendary intelligence agency after it caught them operating in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
In the post, IS said the two “collaborators” were forced to dig their own graves before they were killed. The bloodthirsty group also published a video supposedly documenting the execution. In the footage, one of the captives admits to spying.
Based mostly in Syria and Iraq, IS has expanded its reach in other Middle Eastern countries over the past months. A notable presence has emerged in Libya, Sinai and even the Gaza Strip.
