The Jerusalem Film Workshop announced that its recently opened 2015 summer program will include playing host to some prestigious guests, as well as the presentation of films in the Jerusalem Film Festival.
Now in its second year, some of the instructors of the program’s courses are leading names in Israeli cinema, including a recent Academy Award nominee. The program is organized in cooperation with leading names in cinema from both Israel and the United States.
Included among the instructors is Director Tom Shoval, who was nominated for an Academy Award at the 2015 Oscars for ‘Aya’. Last year, the workshop hosted participants from the U.S., the U.K., India, China, and Brazil.
Over six weeks, young filmmakers learn the ins and outs of film-making, camera shooting, and editing.
The program, the first high-level film education course of its type to be based in Israel, is an initiative of Green Productions CEOs Gal Greenspan and Roi Kurland.
