by Shiryn Ghermezian
Frank Sinatra’s body was hidden at a Jewish funeral home to keep photographers off the trail, the New York Post‘s Page Six reported on Tuesday.
The revelation was made on Monday night by Fort Lee, New Jersey funeral parlor director Barry Wien in a conversation with Douglas Elliman CEO Dottie Herman during an event honoring the singing legend at the Friars Club in New York City.
As the two chatted while attending “Sinatra 100” — emceed by former CNN host Larry King — Wien was overheard saying, “The LA funeral homes were besieged by paparazzi after Sinatra’s death, trying to get a shot of the body. The family wisely hid the remains at a Jewish funeral home to great effect.”
