Brooklyn Man Who Suffered Heart Attack While Shoveling Snow Saved by Jewish Volunteer Ambulance Service Medic

A volunteer for a Jewish emergency rescue service saved the life of a Brooklyn, NY man who had a heart attack while shoveling snow on Saturday night, the website Yeshiva World News reported.
The 51-year-old went into cardiac arrest while clearing snow that had covered his parked car during Winter Storm Jonas. Seeing the man collapse, a bystander called the Hatzalah service. But even before an ambulance arrived, a Hatzalah volunteer who happened to be shoveling snow from his own car nearby used his Automated External Defibrillator to resuscitate the man, while dozens of neighbors looked on.
Within seconds, a Hatzalah ambulance arrived and evacuated the man to a nearby hospital. His current condition is unknown.
