Director of the International Conference of Chabad-
Rabbi Moshe Kotlarksy, Chabad’s most visible global ambassador, was hard at work throughout 2015.
Just one example: He traveled in December to Cambodia to help inaugurate Chabad’s new Jewish Center in Phnom Penh, affixing a mezuzah to the main doorpost and dedicating the honor to American philanthropist George Rohr, whose grant funded a substantial part of the project. Kotlarsky has cultivated Chabad’s relationship with George Rohr, who has also funded the movement’s expansion on college campuses.
In addition, Kotlarsky serves as one of Chabad’s spokespersons; as a top emissary, visiting heads of state around the globe; and an educational visionary and fund-raiser, overseeing scores of religious and educational institutions in some 70 countries.
He also arranges the annual Kinus Hashluchim, the international conference of over 4000 Chabad emissaries that occurs in New York.
