JNS.org – On May 22, Israeli actress Ania Bukstein made her first appearance on Game of Thrones as the Red Priestess Kinvara, receiving praise for her character’s fierce monologue and exchange with fellow characters Varys and Tyrion Lannister.
Long before her foray into the hugely popular English-language HBO series, Bukstein, who was born in former Soviet Union and immigrated to Israel as a child, has been known as an actress in Israel. She is also a singer. At about the same time as her first episode of Game of Thrones aired, Bukstein also released her fourth single, We Have a Chance, which will be featured in an upcoming album.
