The body of Baha Aliyan, a terrorist who became a symbol of the “lone-wolf intifada,” as the recent wave in Israel of stabbings, car-ramming and shootings has been called, was released to his family on Thursday morning after months of negotiations by Israeli authorities.
Aliyan, who, on October 13 of last year, boarded a bus with fellow terrorist Bilal Abu Ghanem, armed with guns and axes, was killed during the attack by security forces while Ghanem is currently standing trial. Three Israelis were killed by the terrorists in the attack.
