JNS.org – The Palestinian Authority’s (PA) Fatah faction called violent antisemitic, anti-Israel children’s drawings it posted on Facebook “innocent,” a Jerusalem-based research organization reported this week.
Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) revealed that in one drawing, Israel is portrayed as eating a murdered Palestinian, while drinking a glass of his blood.
In another, a Palestinian Muslim woman is seen “crucified” by Israel. Still others promote violence through images of slingshots and rifles aimed at Israel.
In a Twitter post, Fatah claimed drawings like these “express the feelings of children of #Palestine.”
PMW director Itamar Marcus said that the drawings reflect the PA and Fatah’s consistent message that the entire state of Israel is occupied Palestinian territory.
Children’s TV programs teach that “[Israel] will all return to us,” Marcus said, adding that the PA and Fatah have been exploiting the innocence of Palestinian children for years, by brainwashing them to believe that Israel is a monster and that terrorists are role models to be emulated.
