Legendary American actor and martial artist Chuck Norris is currently visiting Israel, according to a flurry of photos that popped up on social media this weekend.
Ex-Israeli Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold posted a photo of himself on Twitter Saturday night embracing the 76-year-old Norris at a restaurant north of Tel Aviv.

According to the Hebrew news site Ynet, Norris dined at Bistro 56 in the Herzliya Marina on Saturday evening and drew attention from many of the restaurant’s patrons and employees.
Before both the 2013 and 2015 Knesset elections, Norris — who has filmed three movies in the Jewish state — endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Gold is a member of Netanyahu’s Likud Party.
“You have an incredible country and we want to keep it that way,” Norris told Israelis in his 2015 endorsement.
