JNS.org – Three IDF soldiers were wounded on Tuesday in a Palestinian car-ramming terror attack outside of the Jewish community of Kiryat Arba, near Hebron.
Two of the wounded soldiers were evacuated to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center, with the third soldier being treated by medics at the scene of the attack.
IDF officers killed the terrorist. Following the incident, soldiers searched the car for weapons, and later conducted a raid of the terrorist’s Hebron home and questioned his family.
A similar Palestinian car-ramming attack occurred earlier this month near the Jewish community of Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem. Tuesday’s car-ramming near Hebron occurred as tensions continued to flare in Jerusalem, where Muslim rioters protested the bolstered security that Israel implemented at the Temple Mount following last Friday’s deadly terror attack near the holy site.
