Conan O’Brien Tries Winning Over Israeli Woman While Covered in Dead Sea Mud
by Shiryn Ghermezian
Conan O’Brien shared on his late night talk show on Monday a video of him trying to swoon an Israeli woman during a recent visit to the Jewish state.
The talk show host — who toured Israel in August to film a primetime special — tried to win over a woman he met at the Dead Sea, telling her, “I took off my wedding ring, they said you can’t wear jewelry here, so that means I’m not married while I’m in the Dead Sea.”
After meeting a man who told him about the benefits of putting mud from the Dead Sea on the body, O’Brien covered himself with the mud and once again approached the Israeli woman.
“Is this attractive? Do I look [like] an attractive Israeli man?” he said to her, to which she responded, “More attractive than without the mud. I’m telling you the truth.” O’Brien then jokingly responded, “You think I’m more attractive covered in mud than as G-d made me. I’m going to go that way and I’m going to cry.”
He told viewers on Monday he thought the woman was just “flirting” with him.
“Conan In Israel” will air on Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST on TBS. Watch his visit to the Dead Sea in the video below:
