The members of the US presidential delegation who will attend Monday’s opening of the American Embassy in Jerusalem arrived in Israel on Sunday.
The delegation is being led by Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan. Delegation members include President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
Others in attendance on Monday will be Trump’s special representative for international negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.
Numerous other dignitaries have also traveled to the Israeli capital for the embassy opening.
The festivities will kick off on Sunday, with a reception hosted by the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
Last December, Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and ordered the relocation of the US embassy there from Tel Aviv.
