At least three “kite bombs” were flown from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip into southern Israel on Monday, igniting fires in farm fields near the border fence.
Firefighters were called the scenes of the blazes near the kibbutzim of Mefalsim, Kfar Aza and Nahal Oz.
The “kite bomb” phenomenon began last month as part of the ongoing Hamas-orchestrated “Great March of Return” riots on the border.
