A Jewish group in the UK congratulated the royal family and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, on the news that she was expecting a baby with the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews posted on Twitter on Monday the message, “B’sha’a tova u’mutzlachat,” which are Hebrew well wishes commonly given to a pregnant woman. It added, “We wish all the royal family health and happiness on the news that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby.”
Kensington Palace announced on Sunday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child together. The baby is due this coming spring.
The baby will be seventh in line to the British throne after Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children, and Prince Harry.
The couple got married in May.
