The third suspect wanted by police in Brooklyn in connection with two antisemitic attacks on Orthodox Jews in the Crown Heights section in the early hours of Wednesday morning has been apprehended.
Joshua Peters, 20, was arrested Thursday and is facing robbery and assault as a hate crime charges.

The arrest of Peters came two days after the other alleged suspects, Nazar Walters, 18, and Teshon Bannister, 21, were brought into custody and charged with hate crimes. The trio are accused of assaulting a 22-year-old yeshiva student, Mendel Super, who was punched and kicked to the ground. Minutes later, they are believed to have carried out a second attack on a nearby block, this time attacking a 51-year-old Hasidic man.
Wednesday’s incidents were the latest in a series of assaults on Hasidic men and boys in Crown Heights over the last three months. According to community group the Jewish Future Alliance, ten Orthodox Jewish men have been violently attacked “in the last 60 days alone.”
Speaking to broadcaster CBS about his ordeal, Super recalled that he “just really felt so helpless lying on the ground there.”
“Nothing that I could do,” Super said. “It was the scariest experience of my life.”
