JNS.org – Israeli jets reportedly struck numerous Hamas posts in the southern Gaza late on Wednesday in response to a small bomb that was attached to a bundle of balloons that flew from Gaza into Israel, damaging the front window of a home in the Eshkol area a few hours earlier.
No casualties have been reported.
Some of the targets hit by Israel are believed to be tied to Hamas’s Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the terrorist organization’s armed division.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the retaliation.
