JNS.org – A woman was arrested for scrawling swastikas, antisemitic, anti-LGBT, racist white-nationalist symbols and epithets on five public places in Oklahoma City and in the nearby city of Norman, Okla.
Allison Johnson, 45, turned herself in at Norman police headquarters. She was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on a complaint of “terroristic threatening” and accused of vandalizing multiple buildings.
“We are grateful to our law-enforcement community for taking each of these incidents seriously,” Roberta Clark, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City, told JNS via email.
Police in Norman, a city of about 120,000, said the same suspect is believed responsible for recent hate crimes involving graffiti in Oklahoma City, though did not specify those incidents.
