JNS.org – Plans will be announced on Israel’s Independence Day next week for a train stop in Jerusalem to be named after US President Donald Trump, who officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state in December 2017 and relocated the US embassy in Israel there five months later.
“Here, in the Old City of Jerusalem, we will build the Western Wall & Temple Mount train station,” tweeted Acting Foreign Minister and Transportation Minister Israel Katz. “It will be named after @realDonaldTrump, who made history and recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”
