A minor earthquake was felt across Israel on Wednesday, including in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Beersheva.
According to Hebrew news site Mako, the earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale and the epicenter was off the coast of Israel in the Mediterranean Sea.
A man from the central city of Ramat Gan said, “I was lying on the sofa and surfing on my cellphone, and suddenly I see my hand shaking and I couldn’t understand why, and then I felt the sofa moving a little too.”
Noa, from Beersheba in Israel’s south, said, “I was sitting on the sofa and suddenly I felt the house tremble. The sofa was really trembling and also the computer screen, it was scary.”
