Israeli Singer Eyal Golan Shows Off Massive Back Tattoo to ‘Never Forget’ Hamas Massacre

Popular Israeli singer Eyal Golan debuted on Monday a new and very large tattoo on his back that pays homage to the victims of Hamas’ deadly invasion of Israel earlier this month and ensures he will “never forget” what transpired.
The tattoo is of a massive Star of David that in its center has the date of Oct. 7, which is when Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel and went on a rampage, murdering 1,400 people, mostly Israeli civilians, and kidnapping more than 200 people. The number seven in the tattoo has two drips coming down from it, an apparent reference to the dripping blood of those killed in Israel during the Hamas massacre. Filling the inside of the Star of David are Hebrew letters that spell out a Jewish prayer from the Book of Psalms.
In the caption of his Instagram photo, Golan wrote that he will “remember and never forget” the tragedies of Oct. 7, and that the onslaught will be “etched on my heart and on my body. A reminder for eternity.” He added that despite the ongoing war, Israel will rise, multiply, “grow, and prosper.” He concluded by writing, “Am Israel Chai,” which translates to “long live Israel,” and included an emoji of the flag of Israel.

On Oct. 19, Golan released a song called Am Israel Chai, in which he sings about the return of the hostages, the solidarity and resilience of the Israeli people in difficult times, and his hope that Israel “will know better days than these.”
