A group of pro-Palestinian protestors gathered Christmas morning to demonstrate in front of the family home of US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in Virginia.
Protestors shouted slogans including “Austin, Austin, rise and shine, no sleep during genocide,” according to videos shared by The People’s Forum a far-left anti-Israel group which organized the protest.
The group also carried an image of President Joe Biden with blood dripping from his mouth, according to images shared on social media.
“Genocide Joe, you have blood on your hands,” read another sign.
The protesters also reportedly targeted National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan’s home early in the morning,
“Pro Palestinian agitators show up to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s home and harass him, as well as his entire neighborhood, this Christmas morning,” the advocacy group Stop Antisemitism group wrote on X.
Police intervened and no arrests were made, according to reports posted on social media.
Austin has repeatedly traveled to Israel since the Hamas onslaught on Oct. 7.
